Maame Serwaa reads an emotional tribute to her mother Rose Benson

It was a tearful experience for family and friends who gathered to mourn with Kumawood actress, Clara Benson, popularly known as Maame Serwaa.

In a report by zionfelix.net, she participated in the final funeral rites for her late mother in their family home in the Ashanti region and took to the podium to read a tribute to her.

The actress’ mother, popularly known as Maa Rose, passed away on December 7, 2017. Several movie stars in the movie industry joined the family to give her a befitting burial.

Reports reaching YEN.com.gh showed that the late Rose Benson had been sick for some time, and subsequently lost her life after the illness took a serious turn.

The news of her passing brought several Kumawood stars to their home to express their support condolences to the bereaved family.

Prior to the passing of her mother, Maame Serwaa had planned a get-together for some children in Accra, but had to cancel the plans, due to the unfortunate incident.
